There are some wonderful preserved railway lines close to me, the Severn Valley Railway, the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway, the Great Central Railway, The Battlefield Line, and the Dean Forest Railway, where you can enjoy a ride on the steam train through beautiful scenery, soaking up the atmosphere of a bygone era of travel.
