I am a keen photographer, who enjoys taking photos at cricket matches and of steam railways. I particularly like to photograph grass-roots cricket, which is such an enjoyable version of the game. As well as the challenge of taking shots that capture the action at the right moment, there is also the sheer pleasure that comes from the wonderful landscapes that so many of the grounds are set in. It is a similar story when I photograph steam railways - photographs of the old locomotives are enhanced by the lovely scenery. Living in the heart of England, I am close to cricket grounds and steam railways in beautiful areas such as the Cotswolds, the Chilterns, the Peak District, and the lovely countryside of Shropshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
I take photographs at games in the National Village Knockout Cup, which have been used by The Cricketer magazine, and of attractive cricket grounds, which have featured in The Cricketer calendar. I hope you enjoy looking at the photo galleries on here. |
